Good location. Excellent evening menu. Very welcoming owner who had lots of involvement with guests.
I felt that the room could have done with a minifridge which as been in place at less expensive 3* hotels and tv channels were limited, and lacked a radio - but it had a dvd player. Nearby church chimed all night long. However when you have all this fantastic mountain countryside around even such an expensive country has to be forgiven.

The room was large and nicely decorated with wonderful Swiss furnishings, including a canopy bed. The compliment of a couch and chair made tv viewing comfortable. Our dining experience in the restaurant was exceptional and the food was delicious. The morning buffet had a good selection and was plentiful. We liked that breakfast was included in the price of the room. We enjoyed seeing the staff in traditional dress. It added to the Swiss flavour of the the hotel. The staff at the hotel were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. This was our favourite hotel experience during our stay in Switzerland.
This hotel met all our needs; we can offer no constructive criticism.

The hotel is located in a great spot - close to the Sherlock Holmes' museum and directly in the center of the commune. the restaurant is highly praised and serves delicious food. Rooms are clean with adequate bathrooms and the breakfast is above average. the hotel even has its own car park.
The management could be more attentive to the needs of its guests.

The hotel offered free shuttle service to and from the train station, which was very convenient. The room and bathroom were very clean and well-maintained. the breakfast provided was of good quality.
The noise level from outside was high, especially with the church bell ringing every 30 minutes. The location of our room did not allow for a view of the nearby scenery, which was a downside.
